Does the Chrysler warranty cover a rental car?
Our 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is at the dealership repair shop for a problem that I’m pretty sure was caused by a manufacturer defect. If that turns out to be the case, will the warranty cover a rental car for us to use?

If the problem with your Pacifica is caused by a defective part, your Chrysler warranty should cover a rental car plus all repair and replacement costs. If, however, the problem turns out to be unrelated to a factory or manufacturer defect, your warranty won’t cover the repair or the cost of a rental.
If you’re right about the problem being under warrant, then here’s what to expect with Chrysler’s Mopar rental reimbursement program:
- Up to $45 a day for car rental costs
- Maximum of five days or $225 for each repair event
- Reimbursement forms can be submitted by the dealer or by you
