My sister is moving out of the country with her husband, so she’s looking to unload her 2014 Jetta on the cheap. She’s not very car-savvy, so she’s a bit lax on the details. Does the 2014 Jetta have Bluetooth?

Yes—the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta technically has Bluetooth, but it’s not exactly like a modern Bluetooth system. While it works for hands-free calling and voice recognition, it’s not set up to play streaming audio from your phone.
That may irk you if you’re an audiophile, but don’t stress. You have alternative options:
- Use a 1/8-inch cord to hook your phone into the auxiliary port of the Jetta.
- Purchase a Bluetooth streaming audio car kit. These are only about $15 to $20, are easy to set up, and can still give you the Bluetooth feature you want.
