Does my car insurance cover me if I work for Grubhub?

I want to get a side gig working for Grubhub. Does my car insurance policy cover me?

“In most cases, your personal car insurance won’t cover you if you’re in an accident while driving for Grubhub. This is because of the heightened risk of accidents and claims among delivery drivers.
It also doesn’t help that Grubhub doesn’t provide its drivers with any commercial car insurance.
So to avoid a potentially catastrophic situation, call your insurance company and ask about purchasing a business-use add-on for your personal policy or a commercial policy. The former is designed for occasional business use, while the latter is designed to cover businesses and their cars.”
