Does my BMW 1 Series have Bluetooth?
I recently purchased an older model BMW 1 Series and am wondering whether or not I will still be able to sync my phone to the vehicle as I’ve done with newer model BMWs. Does my BMW 1 Series have Bluetooth?

Your BMW 1 Series has Bluetooth if it was built after 2004. When the BMW 1 Series was first introduced in 2004, limitations in the telematics control unit (TCU) could not support Bluetooth, but it became a standard feature from 2005 onwards.
In rare cases, some BMW 1 Series vehicles built in 2004—particularly those manufactured during the latter half of the year—may have the equipment to support Bluetooth.
