Does installing a dash cam void the warranty from Toyota?

I was in an accident where the other person claimed I was at fault when I wasn’t. The report sided with him, so my rates went up on my insurance. I want to install a dash cam so this doesn’t happen again—will this void my Toyota warranty?

Because almost all dash cams are plug-and-play, installing one in your car will not void your
Toyota
warranty. Even bigger modifications to your car such as a lift kit, new wheels, or bigger tires also will not void your warranty as these modifications are protected under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act enacted by Congress in 1975.
If your rates have gone up due to an accident, don’t simply pay the added amount charged by your current insurer. Use the
Jerry
app instead to compare quotes from reputable insurers so you always get the lowest rate for your coverage needs.
