Does a blow-off valve void the warranty on a Subaru?
I want to add a blow-off valve to my 2020 Subaru WRX—will it void the factory-limited warranty?

Great question! Adding aftermarket products to your Subaru is a great way to customize it, but you don’t want to do so at the expense of the warranty. Luckily, adding a blow-off valve won’t void the Subaru limited warranty.
Engine modifications of any kind, such as altering the factory turbo engine, wouldn’t interfere with the warranty unless the modification causes the failure of something you’re claiming under warranty and can be attributed to the modification.
However, do note that having parts installed by anyone other than authorized Subaru technicians and failing to perform regular maintenance on your Subaru are two things that can void your warranty, leaving you responsible for maintenance and repair costs for any issues that may arise.
