Does a 2005 Toyota Camry have a timing belt?

I just bought a used car and want to tune up the car before I hit the road. My past cars have all had timing belts, but I can’t find anything online about repairing or replacing the belt in this case. Does a 2005 Toyota Camry have a timing belt?

Regular and preventative maintenance is one of the most cost-effective ways to own a car, and a little TLC can go a long way in stretching out the lifespan of a vehicle.
A 2005
Toyota
Camry doesn’t have a timing belt—it has a timing chain.
Timing belts and timing chains perform the exact same function, which is to keep your camshaft and crankshaft synchronized to make the engine work
quietly
and efficiently. The belts connect to the gears of the shafts and make them spin in rhythm.
And as you may guess from their names, the fundamental difference is that one is a heavy-duty rubber belt and the other is a metal chain. Timing belts and timing chains tend to be similarly priced, so it should still be just as cheap a DIY project as it would if your Camry had a belt instead.
