Do fake driving licenses work?

I know that people get fake IDs for buying alcohol, but do fake licenses work as an actual driver’s license if you get pulled over? If so, that seems like an easy way to get out of a ticket.

The short answer to this question is no, fake driving licenses do not work for traffic stops—and there are some pretty serious consequences for trying to use them. When
the police
take your license and registration, the first thing they do is run your license. If your license is fake, your information won’t appear in their database.
Using a fake ID is also usually charged as a misdemeanor, so you could face a fine of up to $1,000 and jail time of up to six months. In short, giving the police a fake ID at a traffic stop could cause you to end up in handcuffs.
When you get pulled over, you should have proof of insurance handy too. Luckily, the
