Can you wear Crocs while driving?

I’ve heard that some shoes are more dangerous to wear than others while driving. I know flip-flops can be a little risky, but what about other sandal-type shoes? Is it safe for me to wear Crocs while driving?

While they may seem a little too close to flip-flops for comfort, Crocs make fantastic driving shoes.
The reason flip-flops are generally considered dangerous on the road is that they’re too loose. The lack of an ankle strap means you can easily push them off your toes and into the area where your brake and
gas
pedals are.
Since losing a shoe under your feet could interfere with your ability to drive, flip-flops are typically not recommended for driving. But Crocs are made of comfortable material and include an ankle strap, which means they’re easy to wear for long periods of time, and they won’t easily come off your feet.
That said, while Crocs are ideal driving shoes for any distance, you’ll **typically be better off avoiding the slip-on Crocs.
