The battery in my car is constantly running out, and I think it's because my alternator isn't spinning properly. I heard that adding lubricant can help a malfunctioning alternator, but I don’t want to damage anything. Can you lubricate an alternator?

You can lubricate an alternator, but you need to consider:
  • The type of lubricant
  • The method of pumping
