Can you flat tow a Toyota Tacoma 4x4?

I just purchased an RV and I want to head out on a road trip. Once I get to my campground, I want another vehicle to go out and explore. I’m thinking about bringing my Tacoma 4x4, but I’m not sure if I can flat tow it. Can I flat tow my Toyota Tacoma 4x4?

The Toyota Tacoma 4x4 can never be flat towed. Flat towing a Tacoma 4x4 can severely damage its drivetrain and void your warranty, so it’s best not to even attempt it.
Alternatively, you can tow a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with either a two-wheel dolly (with the truck in neutral) or a flatbed trailer. You may have to spend a bit more, but the peace of mind is worth it if you want the convenience of another vehicle on your road trip.
