Can you flat tow a MINI Cooper Countryman?

Ever since the MINI Cooper debuted in the U.S., I’ve always wanted to own one. Now that I have some extra income, I’m thinking about driving one home. My only hang-up is that I won’t be able to tow it behind my RV. Is it possible to flat tow a MINI Cooper Countryman?

Unfortunately, you cannot flat tow a MINI Cooper Countryman under any circumstances. The transmission and the drivetrain of the Countryman are not made for flat towing, but you have another option.
You can always use a flatbed trailer to tow the MINI Cooper Countryman or any other method where all four wheels are off the ground. Generally speaking, a flatbed trailer will cost you about $1,000 to $3,000, but a used one is often the best option in terms of price.
