Can you flat tow a 2018 Ford Explorer?

I want to flat tow my 2018 Explorer behind my motorhome. Since I’ve never done it before, I’m not really knowledgeable about how to do it. Is it possible to flat tow a 2018 Explorer?

You might be able to flat tow your 2018 Explorer, but it depends on what engine and drivetrain your Explorer has. First off, your Explorer needs to have two-wheel drive (rear-wheel drive). If you have an all-wheel-drive Explorer or one with a different engine, don’t flat tow it under any circumstances, as doing so can damage the drivetrain.
If you don’t have the two-wheel drive 3.5- or 3.7-liter Explorer, don’t stress. You can still use a flatbed trailer to tow this SUV. If you need a bit of scratch to buy a trailer, start by reducing your
