Can you flat tow a 2014 Ford Edge?

My wife, kids, and I are going camping for two weeks, and we rented an RV. We don’t want to drive the RV around the area, so we were thinking about bringing our Ford Edge, too. Can we safely flat tow a 2014 Ford Edge behind the RV?

Great question! It actually depends on the configuration of your 2014 Ford Edge. A Ford Edge with a four-cylinder engine must be hooked up to a tow dolly, whereas an Edge with a V6 and AWD can be flat-towed with a speed restriction of 65 mph based on the owner’s manual.
