Can I renew my international driving license online?
I got an international driver’s license the last time I went to London (11 months ago) but I have to go back in about a month. Is it possible to renew it online before I go?

Renewing your international driver’s permit (IDP) online would be a lot more convenient than doing so in person. However, there currently is no option to renew your international driving license online—it must be done either by mail or in person.
If your driving permit expires soon, you have the option to renew by mail. You can send a completed copy of your IDP application to: AAA/IDP, 1000 AAA Drive, Heathrow, FL 32746, Attn: Mail Stop #28.
Note that it can take four to six weeks to arrive unless you’re sending it by express mail. And once received, it can take up to 10 business days to receive your IDP in the mail.
Regardless of whether you plan to drive internationally or not, having an IDP is a smart idea—and so is having the right car insurance coverage to keep you protected on the road.
