I have gotten into off-roading lately and would like to do some modifications that will help my Jeep perform better in those conditions. Can a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee be lifted?

You can have your 2013
Jeep Grand Cherokee
lifted from 2-4 inches, using a leaf-spring kit, a coil spring lift, a long arm lift, or a short arm lift. Depending on the lift height and type, plan on spending anywhere from $300-$700.- Coil spring: A coil spring lift will only give you a little more height, but it will improve your off-road ride. It is the cheapest option at around $300.
- Leaf spring: A leaf spring lift kit is one step up from the coil spring. It will give your Grand Cherokee a little more height and increase your off-road performance on dirt and gravel. You can combine leaf and coil springs for additional height.
- Short arm lift: The next step up, a short-arm lift will take your Jeep up about three inches, and works great if you plan to be doing some rock climbing in your vehicle.
- Long arm lift: The long arm lift is the best and (most expensive option) it offers the best off-road suspension for driving over larger obstacles and rougher terrain. If you off-road regularly, it is worth the $700 investment.
