would be any less safe than a gas-powered car. A few features that make electric cars safe to drive are:- The battery of an electric car is located low in the vehicle, giving it a lower center of gravity and making it less likely to roll or flip in an accident.
- Gasoline is highly flammable, and fully-electric cars use zero gas.
- In the event of a crash, the power supply from the high-voltage battery is switched off as soon as the airbags are activated.
