background
Chrysler
is one of the better-known American automakers, and unlike other automakers, Chrysler has not one, but two minivans available. Currently, there's the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica as well as the 2021 Chrysler Voyager.
While both minivans have a lot of similarities with each other, they also have some differences. Here's a look at the Voyager vs. Pacifica and which one may be right for you.

The pros and cons of the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica

As

wrote, despite being similar minivans, both Chryslers have some big differences. This is because the Pacifica simply has far more features than the Voyager does.
This is especially true when it comes to the interior of the car. Not only does the Pacifica have more standard features, such as rain-sensing wipers and a power liftgate, but it also has more optional features. For example, the Pacifica can be equipped with heated front seats and a panoramic roof, but the Voyager can't have those options.
That being said, one area where the Pacifica and the Voyager are entirely the same is the engine. Both Chryslers come with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that gets about 287 horsepower. As such, both minivans also have a fuel economy that's roughly the same.
However, the big problem with the Pacifica is its price tag. Since it's loaded with standard features, it starts at about $35,000. Of course, if customers want to add more features to the Pacifica, then its price tag grows even more.

An overview of the Voyager vs. Pacifica

Since the Voyager is, essentially, a cheaper version of the Pacifica, it naturally doesn't have that much going for it. To be fair, the Voyager is still a minivan, and it still has a similar size, shape, and looks as the Pacifica. As such, a lot of people may end up getting the two minivans confused due to how similar they look.
However, one area where both aren't the same is in their seats. The Voyager can seat up to seven people, but the Pacifica can seat up to eight. That being said, in terms of their cargo capacities, both minivans should be about the same.
On top of that, both Chryslers still have Stow 'n Go seats. These seats make it easier for families to fold seats down to increase the minivan's cargo room. And of course, the main benefit of the Voyager is its price tag. It's simply much cheaper than the Pacifica.

The Voyager starts at about $27,000. This means that it costs about $8,000 less than the Pacifica does. For many families, that's 8,000 reasons why the Voyager is the better car than the Pacifica.
But, of course, that $8,000 premium does buy quite a few things. Since a lot of features are either standard or optional on the Pacifica that aren't available on the Voyager, families who want those features only have one option.
This is especially true when it comes to seating. If a family needs eight seats, then the Pacifica is the only real option. However, if a family doesn't need all eight seats, then they might want to consider both options.
When it comes to the Voyager vs. Pacifica, you know have great options to choose from. It's also good to have choices when it comes to car insurance.
