background
Many automakers are making
electric vehicles
nowadays, and that includes high-performance luxury brands, such as Jaguar.
As a result, there are quite a few fuel-efficient Jaguars on the market right now, and they include the likes of the Jaguar I-Pace. The I-Pace isn't the only fuel-efficient Jaguar, though, so let’s take a look at the top four fuel-efficient Jaguars.
Jaguar is known for producing fast cars, but which are the most fuel-efficient?

Jaguar I-Pace: The first non-combustion fuel-efficient Jaguar

The Jaguar I-Pace is Jaguar's first-ever EV, so naturally, it's also Jaguar's most fuel-efficient option right now. According to
Next Green Car
, the I-Pace comes with electric motors that generate about 395 horsepower. This allows it to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. On top of that, the I-Pace tops out at about 124 mph.
Overall, it has a range of about 292 miles. Furthermore, when using a fast charger, folks can recharge their I-Pace in about 90 minutes. That being said, the I-Pace won't be cheap. Since it's a Jaguar, it'll still end up costing just under $90,000.

Jaguar E-Pace: The plug-in hybrid

Another fuel-efficient Jaguar is the E-Pace. Unlike the I-Pace, the E-Pace is not an EV. Instead, the E-Pace is a PHEV, and this means that it's less fuel-efficient than the I-Pace is. Regardless, it's still a very fuel-efficient car.
It has a 1.5-liter engine that's paired with an 80-kW electric motor. Combined, they generate about 305 horsepower. This allows it to go from 0 to 60 mph in about 6.5 seconds, as well as top out at about 134 mph.
Since it's a PHEV, its fuel economy can vary based on how it's being driven. Overall, it gets about 141 MPGe, however, without its electric motor, it only gets about 46 mpg. That being said, it also can go 34 miles on battery power alone.
Plus, the E-Pace is also cheaper than the I-Pace. It starts at about $65,000.

Jaguar XF diesel: A cheaper, fuel-efficient Jaguar

Getting a sports car that's equipped with a diesel engine is also a good way to get a fuel-efficient Jaguar. The XF, when it's equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine, isn't exactly a sports car. That diesel engine only gets 161 horsepower. This allows the XF to go from 0 to 60 mph in 8.2 seconds, and top out at a max speed of 132 mph.
However, this diesel engine is very fuel-efficient. The XF can get 60 mpg with this diesel engine. On top of that, since it's not a hybrid or an EV, it's also much cheaper than the I-Pace or the E-Pace. This XF option starts at about $46,000.

Like its name might suggest, this version of the XF is very similar to the other XF with a diesel engine. However, this XF is equipped with a mild-hybrid system, as well as a more powerful engine overall.
It's still a 2.0-liter diesel, but it gets 201 horsepower instead. This allows the Jaguar to go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds, as well as top out at about 146 mph.
With that being said, although this XF's powertrain is more powerful, it's slightly less fuel-efficient. It gets about 57 mpg, which is just 3 mpg short of the other XF. However, both XFs cost about the same, and this XF also starts at about $46,000.
There are a lot of fuel-efficient Jaguars to choose from, but there are also a lot of car insurance policies, too.
