What do I do if my rearview mirror falls off?

I was driving to work this morning when I realized my rearview had fallen off! I’m worried I will get a ticket if I don’t fix it soon. What do you do when your rearview mirror falls off?

You don’t need to be an expert mechanic to replace your rearview mirror that fell off. Just follow these steps:
  • Pick up a rearview mirror adhesive-kit from your local auto parts store
  • Remove any leftover adhesive from the last mirror using rubbing alcohol
  • Apply a small amount of adhesive to the back of the new mirror
  • Attach the new mirror by pressing it firmly into place and holding it for a few seconds
