The Dodge Journey, a midsize crossover SUV last manufactured in 2020, has room for six passengers, in addition to the driver. The Dodge Journey really only has one advantage over the Durango, and that is price.
While the MSRP of a new Durango starts at $40,090, a 2020 Journey started at $25,170 when it first came on the market and goes for less now. Other than that, the Journey doesn’t impress in many other categories. From the 172-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to the outdated interior, a lot is lacking.
The Dodge Grand Caravan also offers seven seats at a more affordable price than the new Durango. In 2020, the last year the Grand Caravan was offered, it went for $29,025. You can likely find one for significantly less on the used market today.
