Connecting to Apple CarPlay via Bluetooth in the 2022 Hyundai Tucson

The first thing you’ll have to do to utilize the standard Apple CarPlay in your 2022 Hyundai Tucson is connect your phone to the vehicle. This process can be very simple if you know the proper steps to take, so follow along below.

To connect your iPhone to your car via Bluetooth, the first thing you’ll need to do is make sure that Bluetooth and WiFi are active on your phone. Then on the Tucson’s infotainment screen, find the Setup option. From there you’ll click on WiFi followed by the Use WiFi for Phone Projection option.

After that, navigate back to your infotainment Home screen and then click Setup again. This time, click the Device Connections option followed by Phone Projection. Following this, you’ll click the button that reads Add New.

Once those steps are completed, go on your iPhone’s Bluetooth menu and select your 2022 Hyundai Tucson from the menu. It can sometimes take a moment after opening the Bluetooth menu for the options to appear under Other at the bottom of the menu. When you see your SUV, select it and Allow Permissions for Apple CarPlay when prompted.

Once your phone processes, simply follow the directions on the screen to activate CarPlay. It may require you to select the Apple CarPlay icon on your infotainment screen to launch. And now you’re ready to go!

Connecting to Apple CarPlay via cable in the 2022 Hyundai Tucson
