2021 Toyota Tundra bolt pattern

Since 2007, the Toyota Tundra has had the same bolt pattern, and the 2021 model is no exception with the same pattern of 5x5.9. But just because you know the numbers doesn’t mean you understand them. Let’s break this down a little further.
A bolt pattern is essentially the number of bolts x the diameter of the circle they form.
This means that the first number (five, in this case) refers to the number of bolts—or lugs—on each tire. The second number (5.9 for the Tundra) is the diameter of the circle created by those bolts.
But don’t rush right out to buy your new wheels just yet! There are a few more measurements you need to make sure your tires will fit just right:
  • Factory wheel size: 18 inches or 20 inches (depending on trim)
  • Stud size: 14 millimeters x 1.5 (14 mm stud with 1.5 mm thread spacing)
  • Offset: 18 to 50 millimeters
  • Center bore: 110.1 millimeters
  • Wheel tightening torque: 131 Nm
With that, you’re all set! Modify your tires to your heart’s content.

How to measure your 2021 Toyota Tundra’s bolt pattern

While that should be all the information you need, you might prefer to be more hands-on and take your own measurements. No problem! All you’ll need is a tape measure or a ruler—and your tire, of course.
Because there are five bolts, your measurements are going to be a little uneven. This is due to none of the lugs having a direct opposite. Pick one of the bolts, then measure from the outer edge to the center of the opposite bolt. Either of the bolts on the other side will do—just be sure you’re measuring from the outside edge.
Once you have that measurement, you have the diameter or the second number in the bolt pattern. Then just count up the number of lugs, and voilà! You have the bolt pattern.
