The Nissan Altima is a stylish midsize car, but if you want to swap out the rims for a custom look, you’re probably ready to run out to the auto store. Before you go, you’ll need to get the bolt pattern and vital wheel measurements to find rims that fit your ride! We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know about the 2020 Nissan Altima bolt pattern, so let’s get started.

2020 Nissan Altima bolt pattern

The Nissan Altima bolt pattern from 2020 is 5x4.5 or 5 on 4.5. Altima model years before 2020 have a 4x114.3 bolt pattern.
If bolt patterns have you scratching your head, we’ve got you covered. It’s easy—each bolt pattern, which is sometimes called a lug pattern, is written as:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
Your Nissan Altima’s 5x4.5 pattern means that every tire on your Altima has five lugs that are arranged in a circle with a 4.5-inch diameter. You might think that’s all the info you need to swap out your wheels, but don’t rush out just yet!
You’ll also need to know your Nissan’s wheel size, stud size, offset measurement, and torque specifications. To make it a little easier, we’ve compiled the measurements down below.
  • Factory wheel size: 16”, 17”, and 19”
  • Stud size: M12 x 1.25 (12 mm stud thread and 1.25 mm thread spacing)
  • Offset: 35 to 59 mm
  • Center bore: 66.1 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 113 Nm

How to measure your Nissan Altima’s bolt pattern

If you want to double-check Nissan’s bolt pattern on your own, it’s simple!
Grab a measuring tape or ruler and pick a bolt on your Altima’s wheel. Measure from the outer edge of the lug hole to the center of the opposite bolt. Since there are five bolts on the Altima, you won’t be able to measure directly across to another bolt—you’ll end up in between them. So, pick one of the nearest bolts and measure to its center.
This measurement gives you the diameter. Put that number together with the number of bolts (five), and there’s your Nissan Altima bolt pattern.
