2017 Nissan Altima bolt pattern

The bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5 on the 2017 Nissan Altima. This means that there are five bolts (lugs) on each tire that form a circle that’s 4.5 inches in diameter. The bolt pattern can be described by this formula:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
Information on your vehicle bolt pattern isn’t all you need—you might find information about the wheel size, offset, stud size and thread pitch, center bore measurements, and torque specifications useful as well. Here’s what you need to know:
  • Factory wheel size: 16-18 inches
  • Stud size: M12 x 1.25 (12 mm stud thread and 1.25 mm thread spacing)
  • Offset: 35 mm to 59 mm
  • Center bore: 66.1 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 113 Nm
Center bore size refers to the size of the hole and the wheel’s center, where it attaches to the car’s hub. Stud size and thread pitch describe the bolts you need to properly use with your tires, so you don’t get any that are too large or too small.
Wheel offset relates to how the wheels are mounted in the wheel wells, and the number tells you how much space is available on either side of the wheel.

How to measure your 2017 Nissan Altima pattern

You can actually learn your bolt pattern right from the comfort of your own garage or driveway, though you may have to get your hands a little dirty. All you need is a ruler or measuring tape.
The first step is to count the number of bolts on one of your wheels. You can’t really go wrong here—each wheel should have five bolts.
The next step is a little trickier because the Altima has a five-bolt setup. You need to measure the distance between one bolt and the center of the two bolts across from it. Once you get this measurement (which should be 4.5 inches) you’ll have your diameter and the second part of your bolt pattern. Combine the two, and you have your bolt pattern: 5 x 4.5!
