To complete the job at home, you’ll need to gather the following:

A socket wrench

A drain pan that can hold at least 4.2 quarts of liquid

A filter wrench

A new oil filter

4.2 quarts of premium 0W-20 fully-synthetic engine oil

A funnel

Here’s an easy-to-follow guide to changing your 2020 Honda Civic 2.0’s oil from home:

Turn on your engine for a couple of minutes until it reaches normal operating temperature, then turn it back off and

open the hood

Take off the oil fill cap. The cap should be located on the left-hand side of your engine.

Put the drain pan under the drain bolt. Then, loosen the oil drain bolt with your socket wrench. Allow the old oil to empty into your drain pan.
