A Honda Accord can be a fun, even plucky car to drive, so we’re not surprised to find that many owners are looking for
cheap and easy car mods
to personalize their ride. Switching out your wheels or rims is a great way to do this relatively affordably. Or, you might want to try a DIY
car repair
involving your wheels or rims. It’s doable, but there are a few things you need to know before you can get started. That’s why we’ve created this guide.
Read on to find out everything you need to know about your 2015 Honda Accord’s bolt pattern, plus we’ll throw in the extra specs you'll need to make sure your wheel or rim upgrade is both effective and safe.

2015 Accord bolt pattern

Since it’s available in eight trims and three possible wheel sizes, you’ll probably be surprised to learn that the 2015 Honda Accord only features one bolt pattern: 5x4.5. Of course, that’s assuming you know what a bolt pattern is—and if you’re like most car owners, you don’t. So, let’s start there.
A car’s wheels are held on by bolts, sometimes called lugs, and these form a circular pattern that’s expressed as
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
When we apply this to the 2015 Honda Accord, we learn that its wheels are held on by 5 bolts and those bolts form a circle with a 4.5-inch diameter. If you really want to sound like you know your stuff, refer to this pattern as “5 on 4.5” when speaking with a mechanic or auto parts salesperson.
But before you begin your wheel or rim upgrade, there are a few additional specs you’ll need, and we’ve gathered them all for you here:
  • Factory wheel size: 16”, 17”, or 18”
  • Stud size: 12x1.5 (12 mm stud with 1.5 mm thread spacing)
  • Offset: 35 to 54 mm
  • Center bore: 64.1 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 108 Nm or 79 ft-lbs

How to measure your 2015 Honda Accord’s bolt pattern

Some of us aren’t really into having information handed to us, right? If you want to learn for yourself how to find an Accord’s lug pattern—or the bolt pattern for any vehicle—we can tell you how to do that too. You don’t even need any fancy equipment—just a ruler or measuring tape.
Since your Accord has an odd number of lugs, we’ll start with the steps for finding the pattern for any vehicle with an odd number of lugs holding on the wheel. Start by choosing any bolt on any wheel, then measure from the outside edge of that bolt to the spot in between the two bolts directly across from it. On your 2015 Accord, you’ll see this measure out to 4.5 inches.
Got a car with an even number of lugs? Your task is even easier! Again, just choose any one bolt, then measure from the center of that bolt to the center of the bolt directly across from it.
