How do I connect my Bluetooth device to my Jeep Grand Cherokee?

I just got a new iPhone and, for some reason, I can’t remember how to sync it to my Grand Cherokee. What do I have to do to connect to Bluetooth on the Cherokee?

Don’t worry—connecting your Bluetooth device to your Jeep Grand Cherokee’s infotainment system is fast and easy!
First, make sure Bluetooth is activated on your iPhone. You can do this via Settings > Bluetooth and then toggle the Bluetooth option on.
Then, turn your Jeep on (but leave it in park) and follow these steps:
  • On the Jeep UConnect system, press “Phone,” then “Add Device,” then “Settings.”
  • The system will automatically become discoverable from your mobile device and may display a unique PIN.
  • On your iPhone’s Bluetooth settings, under Other Devices, select your Jeep and—if prompted—input the PIN. Your Jeep screen will confirm the pairing request.
And that’s it! Once your device and Jeep are connected, they should automatically pair every time you start your

with your phone in range. You can now take hands-free calls and play music! Remember to keep
