Of course, that gives you only a small part of the info you need—you also want your 2005 Silverado’s stud size, wheel offset, center bore measurement, and torque specifications:

Factory wheel size: 17” and 18”

Stud size: M14 x 1.5

Offset: 4 to 25 mm

Center bore: 78.1 mm

Wheel tightening torque: 190 Nm

How to measure your Chevy Silverado’s bolt pattern

If you want to double-check those numbers yourself, it’s not difficult–you’ll just need a tape measure or ruler to get started.

Since your 2005 Silverado has six bolts, that makes things easier. Pick one bolt on any wheel, then stretch the tape measure across to the opposite side to the bolt across from the first one. You’ll measure from the middle of the first bolt to the center of the second one.
