What it covers
Almost every state requires you to have basic liability coverage on your policy. Liability covers damage that you cause to other drivers—it doesn’t cover your own. Usually your policy will include
bodily injury liability
property damage liability
Collision coverage is an optional coverage that is included in a full-coverage policy. It covers damage to your own car following a collision with another car or stationary object, like a tree or guardrail.
Comprehensive coverage is an optional coverage that is included in a full-coverage policy. It will cover damage to your car in events other than collisions, such as vandalism, natural disasters, animal strikes, and more.
This is an additional coverage that you can add to your Traders policy. Traders’ roadside assistance is provided by Agero. Some of the services it covers include towing, jumpstarts, fuel delivery, locksmith services, and tire changes.
If your car can’t be driven after a claimable incident, rental car reimbursement coverage will help cover the cost of a rental car for you to drive while your car is in the shop.
PIP covers medical expenses after a covered accident.
Both uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage will cover you if you get in an accident with an at-fault driver who doesn’t have sufficient car insurance coverage.
