Can you add a head-up display to a Jeep?

For those who already own a Jeep and are missing out on a head-up display, don’t fret! You can still add a HUD system to spruce up your ride. The only downside is the additional costs associated with this upgrade.

There are many aftermarket suppliers dedicated to retrofitting vehicles with head-up displays. Since the screen won’t be built into the windshield, the total cost will likely be less—around $450. While these HUD devices will still provide drivers with the essential information, they tend to look bulky and may disrupt the interior aesthetics of your Jeep.

How to use the Jeep head-up display

Using the head-up display can be intimidating—especially when there are so many options that can be customized. Thankfully, the Jeep HUD is simple to use.

To configure your head-up display, follow these steps:

Push the up or down arrow button on the left side of your steering wheel until “Settings Menu” is highlighted on the instrument cluster display

Push the left or right arrow button to select Head-Up Display Menu and push OK

Cycle through the menu options to turn the HUD on or off, change the brightness and height, and customize the information displayed
