Fastest Corvettes under four seconds

The C7 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport can reach 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds with its high-performance package and eight-speed automatic transmission. The sports car is built on the Stingray’s powertrain and the Z06’s chassis.
The C7 features a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine with 450 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. If you do opt for the high-performance package, you’ll enjoy bigger brakes, standard Performance exhaust, a unique suspension, and grippy Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
The C6 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 takes 3.4 seconds to jump to 60 mph. The C6 offers a 7.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with 505 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Weighing only 3,147 pounds, you’re looking at the lightest model of the C6.
Known as the Blue Devil, the C6 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 just needs 3.3 seconds to leave you in the dust. Under the hood, the beast offers a supercharged LS9 engine that churns out 638 hp and 604lb-ft of torque. With its power transmitted through the manual gearbox, the racer could stand up to rivals like Porsche and Ferrari.

The best of the C7 Corvette

The C7 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 features a new LT5 engine with 755 hp and a whopping 715 lb-ft of torque. Want a large rear spoiler that will add over 900 pounds of downforce? No problem. The aerodynamic car also came with an eight-speed automatic transmission option that made conquering 60 mph in 3.2 seconds a breeze.
If you opt for the C7 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 ZTK track package, you’re in for a treat. Though the package offers the same amount of horsepower, you’ll get Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires and shave off two seconds as you jet from 0 to 60 mph. Some drivers even brought the acceleration time down to only 2.85 seconds.
The sleek C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (Z07 package) will have you driving the speed limit in just three seconds flat. When it “rolled out of the factory in 2015, it was the most track-capable Corvette in the brand’s history,” according to
HotCars
. The stunner offered an all-new LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.
With the Z07 package, you receive Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup tires and various aerodynamic upgrades. It may be hard to tell the convertible apart from the coupe, but the coupe is a bit faster sans the folding top.

Step aside, Lambo, for the fastest Corvettes of all

It's hard to miss the vibrant C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51. With a top-of-the-range tech control system, the Stingray is powered by 495 hp and needs just 2.8 seconds to ramp up to 60 mph. And you’ll also get some Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires if you opt for the Z51 package.
If you’re only got 2.6 seconds to spare, the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06/Z07 will get you where you need to go. One of the fastest Corvettes, it features rapid acceleration with 670 hp, wider wheels, and hard-edged driving upgrades.
“But when equipped with the Z07 package, the LT6-powered Z06 hits 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds from a standstill,” HotCars notes. Drivers get to enjoy its unique final drive gearing, crazy quick dual transmission, and adhesive 345/25R21 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 RZp tires.
The fastest Chevrolet Corvette C8 was too hot to handle. Named the Phoenix, the speedster cranked out 1,200 hp at LS Fest.
In early 2021, the coupe “laid down a record-setting 9.41-second quarter-mile run at 144.94 miles per hour,”
Motor1
reports. Though it lacked important safety features and got kicked out of LS Fest, the street-legal car was no doubt the talk of the town as one of the fastest Corvettes.
