background
The
Honda
CB500X Dyno is a
Japenese adventure bike
unlike any other. It's also a friendly commuter that makes daily rides easy. With great handling, it's no wonder this bike is considered so powerful and worthwhile. Here’s what
Jerry
knows about the 2022 Honda CB500X Dyno.

Specs and design of the 2022 Honda CB500X Dyno

Cycle World
indicates that the 2022 Honda CB500X Dyno has plenty of power. The parallel-twin engine and inverted fork make for better braking and an improved ride. It's a motorcycle intended for adventure just as much as it is for asphalt.
The 2022 version has some improvements over the prior model. You'll notice a lighter front wheel, as well as a swing arm that's lighter in weight. The arm also has a better lateral flex.
The dual-disc front brakes are also a change worth mentioning. The LED headlights and front turn signals are also more powerful, giving you a better seeing distance. You can also get a top speed on this motorcycle of 112 MPH.
The overall design of the bike is also enhanced to allow for more weight. It can hold up to 408 pounds. A lot of other models only offer between a 350 and a 400-pound capacity.

Price of the 2022 Honda CB500X Dyno

The 2022 Honda CB500X Dyno is worth the price point. The starting cost is just $7,199. Even once you build your own to add all the features you want, it will still be an amount that's worthwhile and not too far out there.
The 2021 version is even lower in cost, but it doesn't have the pearl organic black and green paint job. It offers a red trim instead. It's still a sleek design, though, making both models worth it - especially at the affordable cost.
This is a much cheaper price than many of the models it's comparable to. That makes it an ideal choice for those looking for a top-quality and reliable bike for a great price. It's also considered learner-friendly and works well as both a bike for beginners and more experienced riders looking to take it on various terrain types.

How does the 2022 Honda CB500X Dyno compare to other Honda bikes?

The 2022 Honda  CB500X Dyno can easily compete with other Honda bikes on the market. The XR65OL is similar in price point, but it comes in white. The CB500X has a better compression ratio at 10.7:1 compared to the 8.3:1 in the XR65OL.
The Honda Africa Twin is a popular adventure bike. It has a similar compression ratio to the CB500X, but has a higher curb weight. Although the Africa Twin has some additional features, they aren't worth the double price point.
It scores well against other bikes in its class, too. The BMW R 1200 GS and BMW R 1250 GS are great for adventure touring. Although these BMW bikes have more horsepower, they're also heavier and less convenient to control.
The Suzuki V-Strom 650 is another similar option. The Honda CB500X has better ground clearance, though, and it's a more affordable price.
