Yet, despite all these high-tech changes, critics appear to be most impressed with the 2022 Accord’s new and

CR suggests the Accord has one of the nicest cabins in the mid-size sedan segment, even compared to cars that cost far more.
The plastic trim looks like real wood, and meshes well with chrome control knobs and patterned seats. The redesigned infotainment system looks great and is user friendly.
The knobs, switches, and steering wheel are pleasingly tactile, and the generous use of soft-touch material throughout the Accord’s cabin adds to the high-quality feel.
Look and feel aside, the latest Accord is just a well-designed vehicle. Most of the cubbies and pockets have rubber bases to keep items in place, and the center console cup holders include anti-tip measures.
Headroom is better up front than in the back seats, but all passengers enjoy plenty of legroom and lumbar support.
Some people might be content with uncomfortable seats and ugly upholstery, but considering how much time we spend inside our cars, having a nice interior does matter.
Still, if you are more interested in looking good from the outside, or having impressive engine specs, rest assured the 2022 Honda Accord checks those boxes too!
The Honda Accord offers more than just a nice interior
Honda upgraded the Accord’s powertrain with a 1.5-liter four cylinder engine, capable of cranking out 192 horsepower. This makes the 2022 Accord one of the quickest cars in its class, but it still maintains a very good fuel economy.
Impressively, Honda’s advanced safety suite comes as standard. This includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control.
There’s not much to dislike! And this is why Consumer Reports gave the Accord an overall score of 88/100, making it the top-ranked midsize car for the 2022 model year!
