Where is the Honda Insight’s battery location?
I’ve checked under the hood and in the trunk, but I *still* can’t find where my battery is! Can you tell me the Honda Insight’s battery location?

A Honda Insight’s battery location is inside the center console—not under the hood or in the trunk like you’d maybe expect. In order to access your battery, you must remove the passenger-side trim panel.
The 12-volt battery in the Honda Insight also has a vent hole, and it’s important that this vent tubing is securely fastened to the vent hole. Otherwise, you run the risk of releasing hydrogen gas into the cabin of your car—so be careful when handling it!
