Where is my 2018 Jeep Cherokee’s auxiliary battery location?
I need to replace the car battery in my 2018 Jeep Cherokee, and my brother says the Cherokee has two different batteries. Is he right about that? And if so, where do I find my 2018 Jeep Cherokee’s auxiliary battery location?

The 2018 Jeep Cherokee does only have one battery. Your brother is thinking of the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which does have an auxiliary battery used by the car’s automatic start/ stop feature.
The 2018 Jeep Cherokee’s battery location is on the driver’s side of the engine bay, underneath a black plastic cover that’s simple to remove.
If you have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you’ll find both the 12V AGM car battery and the smaller auxiliary battery in a hidden compartment underneath the front passenger seat. You’ll need to push the seat all the way forward and as far up as it goes to access these two batteries. These two batteries are right next to one another.
