What type of oil does the 2016 Nissan Altima use?

I’m trying to cut back on my car maintenance costs by changing my own oil. I just want to make sure I’m using the right stuff. What type of oil does the 2016 Nissan Altima take?

The 2016
Nissan Altima
 uses full synthetic oil with an SAE 0W-20 viscosity. Whether your Altima has a 4-cylinder or a V6 engine, you’ll need about 4.9 quarts of oil and a new filter.
Here are some other materials you’ll need to successfully perform an oil change:
  • Rags or cloths to wipe up any spills
  • Tools, including a wrench set and mallet
  • Safety glasses
  • Oil filter gasket
  • A container to drain the old oil into
  • Funnel
  • Oil pan
