What type of oil does the 2004 Jeep Liberty need?

Can I use synthetic oil for my 2004 Jeep Liberty? I’ve heard that synthetic oil isn’t good for all cars, so I’m a little worried about using it in my old Jeep.

The 2004
Jeep Liberty
does best with 5W-30 fully synthetic motor oil, so there’s no need to worry about purchasing synthetic oil for your Jeep. In fact, you’ll be getting the recommended oil type!
You’re definitely right to be cautious, though, as using the wrong type of oil in your Jeep can cause serious engine problems. If you’re ever uncertain about the type of oil you’re buying, you should discuss your purchase with a store employee to make sure you’re buying the right item!
