What type of battery is the Subaru Forester OEM battery?

My Subaru Forester’s battery is officially dead, I think. Unfortunately, it just won’t hold a charge at all so I’ll have to buy a new one. I’m hoping to get the same kind that it came with, so what is the OEM battery for the Forester?

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear about your dead battery! Happens to us all eventually, it seems.
The Subaru Forester OEM battery is a group 35 battery. It’s recommended for the 2.0L or 2.5L engine that you look for an AGM or Lead-Acid battery type.
