What national parks are open in Colorado?
Are there any national parks located in Colorado that are open to the public right now? I really want to explore and adventure while I visit my sister this month, but I’m not sure if things are open yet or not.

- Rocky Mountain National Park: open 24 hours per day.
- Mesa Verde National Park: open 24 hours per day, although some trails are only open from 8 a.m. to sunset.
- Great Sand Dunes National Park: open 24 hours per day
- Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park: open 24 hours per day, although certain roads will be closed from mid-April through mid-November
In all parks, roads are always subject to closure due to severe weather or other interruptions.
If you’re interested in visiting any of these national parks, try to get there in the morning so that you have a full day to explore the park. That way, you’ll be able to experience as much of the land as possible before the end of the day.
