What is the difference between the Toyota Camry LE and SE?

I’m considering upgrading my Camry to a newer model, but I can’t decide which trim to go with. How are the LE and SE trims different?

The difference between the Toyota Camry LE and SE lies with a small handful of features—and about $1,500. The 2023 Camry LE starts at $25,945 MSRP while the SE will cost a minimum of $27,485. Both trims also come standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive.
The
LE
is Camry’s base trim. It comes with a variety of generous features, like dual-zone automatic climate control, a seven-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, a Wifi hotspot, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. The base trim also includes an array of standard driver-assistance tech, like a rearview camera, forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and more.
Moving up to the
SE
trim adds on synthetic leather upholstery and the option for all-wheel drive—and that’s about it. The SE also comes in a special SE Nightshade edition, which adds black exterior features and 19-inch matte bronze wheels.
