My dad has a 2007 Mercedes GL450 and is asking me to do an oil change for him. What type of oil does it use?

oil type is Valvoline SynPower Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-30 or any other pure synthetic 5W-30 oil. It will require 9 quarts.Most vehicles can use either conventional motor oil or synthetic, but if you’re looking for optimal engine performance and fuel economy, opting for pure synthetic motor oil is the way to go. With synthetic, you’ll want to change your oil every 7,500 to 10,000 miles.
On top of changing your oil and oil filter, consider checking these maintenance items off your list, too:
- AdBlue fluid replenishment (diesel only)
- Key fob battery replacement
- Cabin dust filter replacement
- Lights, horn, safety catches/hinges check
- Fluid levels check
- Wipers/washer system check
- Brake component inspection
- Tire condition/inflation check and correction (including spare tire)
- Maintenance indicator reset
