What is good visibility for driving?
I know that driving in low visibility is dangerous, so I always try to avoid driving at night or in poor weather. My only problem is that I’m not quite sure what good visibility is. What is considered good visibility for driving?

Good visibility for driving is a clear day where you can see as far in front of you as possible. Visibility can impact several aspects of driving, including your reaction time, line of sight, depth perception, and more.
While you may learn that the three-second rule leaves enough time to react to other drivers, experts now say that a 15- to 20-second rule is ideal. This means that you should look or scan as far ahead as possible on roadways to avoid:
- Accidents
- Debris
- Pedestrians
- Cyclists
- Other motorists
Ideally, you should extend the 20-second rule to 30 seconds if you’re on a rural road or the interstate. Doing so can improve your reaction speed and make you a
safer driver
