What does the Ford tire warranty cover?
I just came home with my new Ford and I think there’s something wrong with one of my tires. Would this be covered under the warranty?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your new Ford’s tires. The Ford tire warranty—which is part of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty—covers issues that are due to manufacturer defects. That said, the problem may be covered if it’s a defect. The warranty will not coverage damage due to:
- Road hazards
- Improper use or operation
- Insufficient or improper maintenance
- Contamination or degradation
- Improper repair
If you purchased an extended warranty through Ford that includes TireCARE, your tire replacement will be covered no matter what.
