What 2013 Corvette 427 problems should I be worried about?
I found a good deal on a 2013 Corvette 427 on Craig’s List. I was on my way to pick it up but my brother stopped me and said that the 427 had too many problems and that it wasn’t a good car to buy. I really had my heart set on it. What problems is the 427 known to have?

While the Corvette is a beautiful car, your brother is right. In particular, the 2013 Corvette 427 problems are mostly with the engine, which is a pretty expensive problem to have.
Don’t worry, though, you may still be able to get your car. The value-guide degradation issue that caused early engine failure, in some cases as early as just 3,000 miles, was in the 7
.0 liter LS7 V8 engine from 2006-2014. By now, the current owner should have had the part repaired from when the recall was issued.
Before buying the car, have a mechanic take a look at it. They can tell you if the value guide has been repaired or not.
