Is the O2 sensor covered under the Ford warranty?

I was driving my Ford the other day when the check engine light came on. It eventually turned off, but it came back this morning. After running an onboard diagnostic, I found out that the O2 sensor is going bad. Will the Ford warranty covers the replacement cost of an O2 sensor?

Unfortunately, neither the Ford 3-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty nor the 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty covers an O2 sensor. O2 sensors will inevitably need to be replaced due to wear and tear, so they aren’t covered by the warranty. A warranty only covers repairs and replacements for problems caused by a manufacturer’s defect.
A new O2 sensor costs about $300, including the parts and labor. Still, having the money to pay for it without putting it on a credit card can give you some peace of mind.
So if you want to offset the cost of the repair, slashing your
