Is suspension covered under the Hyundai Warranty?

I’ve been having a lot of issues with my Hyundai’s suspension lately and the car is only two years old. Will my warranty cover it?

Of all the popular automakers,
Hyundai
is one of the very best when it comes to warranty coverage. But with so many different types of warranties, it can be difficult to figure out if something like your suspension is covered.
Luckily for Hyundai owners, the suspension system should be covered by your warranty. Every new Hyundai comes with a limited warranty that lasts for five years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The limited warranty, also known as a bumper-to-bumper warranty, covers the majority of the components in your car. The suspension system should be covered by this warranty unless it was damaged because of:
  • An accident
  • Misuse
  • Poor maintenance habits
If you’ve had your Hyundai for more than five years, replacing your suspension might require paying out of pocket. But your engine and transmission should be covered for another five years thanks to the powertrain warranty.
