How often should I practice driving?

Should I be practicing my driving often, or is it okay to just drive once per week? I have my learner’s permit right now, but I hate driving because it makes me nervous. I know that I need to practice but I would rather do it as little as possible.

Driving can be frustrating and a little scary at first, but practicing often is very important to becoming a strong driver. Practicing once per week for an hour will help you learn the skills you need to get out on the road, but it’s a good idea to try to practice as often as possible until you get your license.
By taking every opportunity to drive, you’ll earn the hours you need more quickly. Practicing often can also help you get over your nerves since you’ll get used to the controls and the rules of the road. You’ll be more prepared
in the event of an accident
as well so you’ll be able to avoid dangerous situations more easily.
To make driving a little less scary, make sure you’re protected with a good car insurance policy. The
