Is a Lexus certified warranty transferable?
I’ve owned my Lexus certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle for about a year now, but I want to sell it to get a brand new Lexus. I’m going to sell it privately to get the most money possible. However, I want to make sure I can transfer the warranty before I advertise—can I transfer the Lexus CPO warranty to a new owner?

Unfortunately, the Lexus certified warranty is one of the only luxury warranties that are not transferable. However, this shouldn’t adversely affect the resale value of the car. The Lexus CPO warranty is only two years, so with only a year left, it probably wouldn’t raise the price all that much, if any at all.
