Here are a few places you could try selling your battery:

- Junkyards: If you’re looking to get cash for your battery, you can try going to a junkyard. There are about 21 pounds of lead in one car battery. Based on that figure, most junkyards will pay $7 for it.
- Online: Craigslist and eBay may not sound like the most reliable places to sell your battery, but you’d be surprised how many people search online for affordable batteries—even if they’re used.
